Our cocker spaniel has been boarding with Smudger’s Mutts for a couple of years and he loves it! I am always so happy to leave him there because I know that it is like a home from home for him. He’s loved and looked after so well. I love receiving the photos of what he’s up too, so good to see he’s enjoying his holidays as much as we are! I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Whilst looking after my parents dog, George, I took him to Sarah at Smudgers Mutts for a well needed hair cut!
Upon arriving at the groom room, I was invited in to drop George off. I quickly got into conversation with Sarah and the rest of the Smudgers Mutts team, Sophie, Lisa and Gemma.

I have to say I was immediately put at ease, and George, who does get a bit stressed at times, was happy playing in the back garden with the rest of the dogs who were waiting to be groomed.

Whilst chatting I actually witnessed the dogs being shampooed, blow dried and then groomed by the girls! I have to say all the dogs were extremely happy and were constantly wagging their tails! They were treated exceptionally well and it was lovely to see the girls talk to the dogs whilst they were being groomed.

The way they handled the dogs ensured they were never scared or upset and were constantly reassured with big cuddles throughout!

From the moment Reuben, my English Springer, and I met Sarah, we knew we would be in safe hands. Reuben was hot and bothered on his way in and came out transformed into a smooth and sleek, handsome lad. Sarah aka Smudger, is professional, reliable and most importantly, animal welfare is her top priority. Highly Recommended!

Lucy (my Cockapoo) went for her first puppy groom at Smudger’s Mutts at 4 months old. She had a wonderful time and came back looking and smelling amazing! So many people commented on how fab Lucy looked! Would recommend Sarah and her team to anyone and if you are the owner of a puppy I would advise you to get them booked in so that they can get used to grooming 🙂

I had my jack Russell groomed here today and he looks fantastic. Transformed from scruff bag to handsome chap!! Thoroughly recommend. Fabulous service. Friendly staff. Going back for sure. ☺️

Kiwi my beautiful long white haired Japanese Akita was groomed recently! Hardly recognised her with all the old fur gone A**** highly recommend

Fantastic service at Smudgers! They had their work cut out with coco and her ears but they did a fantastic job and she has matt free ears now! Will be using them regularly from now on 🙂

Piper had the best time. Got to play with Sarah’s dogs first and she then made herself right at home. When I picked her up she looked and smelt lush! She is definitely a fidget bum but after lots of understanding, cuddles and patience from Sarah I collected my happy little lady who looked beautiful. Will definitely be returning for more pamper sessions in the future. Piper is now parading around the house as if to say “look at me… I’m pretty! 🙂 Thank you so much xx
